Leading retail art gallery brand in Middle East unveiled

The leading retail art gallery brand in the Middle East (G-1) overlooking La Croisette Marina has opened a store at The Pearl Qatar.

G-1 features art from local, regional and international artists, and is a true blend of decorative and collectable contemporary artworks suited for homes and offices.

The Founder of the group, Gregg Sedgwick, hopes to further add colour and style to rooms using affordable and unique artwork. Among the highlights at G-1 are the collector’s items such as boxing glove autographed by Mohamed Ali, track shoe with Usain Bolt’s inimitable scrawl on its side, all going beyond the typical art gallery. Moreover, Gallery One is competitively priced and affordable.

The store offers five categories of products ranging from home line, editions line, collections section, autographed prints, and Etcetera. The home line section range features art boxes to limited and unlimited photographic prints from various collections. The Editions line includes limited edition prints by chosen creative partners who contribute regularly to g-1 network.

The collections section includes highly sought after prints by globally renowned artists, while a 'Signed By' section offering photographic print memorabilia signed by the subject. The autographed prints are authenticated and come with comprehensive guarantee. The fifth product line (etcetera) comprises high-quality range of novelty goods ranging from postcards, flick books to even refrigerator magnets. Qatar is the third country, following UK and Bahrain, in hosting a G-1 store outside the UAE.
