New Doha International Airport to get operational by 12th December 2012

The New Doha International Airport will get operational on 12th December 2012.


The Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer, Akbar al-Baker, said that the new airport worth nearly QR45bn, will grow to be one of the major airports in the world, and will manage nearly 50million passengers by the year 2020.


With a steadily growing fleet, Qatar Airways is under expansion, and will grow to be a leading aviation and air navigation hub, covering more than 100 cities across the world.
