British Embassy reveals tough rules for UK visas
People who enter the UK through false documents or deception will face an automatic ban, effective 1st April, announced the British Embassy in Doha.
Applicants who have previously breached UK Immigration Laws by staying in the UK illegally or working without permission will also have to be banned from entering the UK.
The visa service welcomes more than two million people to UK every year, and delivers first class customer service to genuine applicants. The strict new measures target the minority individuals who try to abuse the rules, said a spokesman for the mission.
All applicants for UK visa will have to provide fingerscans, which are a mandatory part of application process. This helps in identifying if they have violated any rules in the UK, or have made application in a different name. Developments risk assessment and forgery identification, and have made it easier to uncover cheats.
These developments are good news for majority of travelers. By quickly identifying who the high risk applicants are, UK Visas will also able to quickly identify and welcome legitimate travelers. The official said that while the British Government openly welcomes and encourages newcomers, visitors and travelers, willing to work hard and abide by the rules, it will also hold newcomers to account for their action if they break rules, be it, overstaying their visas or attempting forgery.
