New direct flight connects Doha and Kochi
Jet Airways, the Indian-based private airline has begun its daily direct flights connecting Doha and Kochi.
The inaugural flight (9W555) took off from Doha at 2.15am on Saturday and arrived at Kochi (9W556) at 00.45 hours with 70 passengers on board.
With this, Jet Airways has daily flights to three Indian destinations – Mumbai, Kozhikode and Kochi.
The airline currently operates a fleet of 81 aircraft. With the introduction of the Doha-Kochi sector, the airline now operates about 380 daily flights.
Apart from Qatar Airways, Jet Airways is the only airline to introduce daily direct flights between Doha and Kochi.
The airline flights to 60 destinations covering most of India and New York too.
