Selection process of residents underway for low-rent Barwa houses
Applicants for the low-rent houses of Barwa Real Estate Company are being called to appear for interviews by the company.
The interviews for Qatari applicants began some time ago. The company is now scheduling the first phase of interviews for residents. The candidates have been asked to produce all necessary documents during the time of interview, for verification of the information provided in the application forms.
Rather than randomly choosing its residents, the company is going through an option of giving preference to the best deserving candidates. It is learnt that the financial position of the family, number of members in the family and nature of current accommodation are being taken into consideration for the selection process.
The company had to delay the delivery of housing units due to delay in infrastructure works. The project, located in Al Sailiya and Mesaimeer, on the outskirts of Doha, involves construction of about 2000 houses.
The houses are likely to be handed over by July or August this year.
