Qatar National Bank to build tallest tower in Doha
The Qatar National Bank, has announced plans to built one of the tallest towers in Doha, as its new Headquarters. The Qatar National Bank is one of the largest lenders by market value in the country.
The Bank has invited main contractors who are interested in the skyscraper. The tower is expected to be taller than Taipei 101 in Taiwan, which is one of the tallest completed buildings in the world at 509mts height.
Spreading across a total built-up area of 235,000 square meters, the tower will have five basement levels. More details of the tower are yet to be revealed.
Currently, the Burj Dubai by Emaar Properties is likely to be the world’s tallest building, on its completion in 2009.
