Abu Dhabi, Qatar joint-venture seek investment opportunities in Qatar
Abu Dhabi based Hydra Properties, together with The Wall Investment & Real Estate Development have entered into a joint venture seeking investment opportunities within Qatar and in the region.
The CEO of Wall Investment, Naseer Shahir Hammoud, said “We are seeking investment opportunities in several Arab countries, but we are currently focusing more on housing projects in Abu Dhabi and Jordan, as the investment regulations are liberal there.”
According to Sulaiman Al-Faheem, Hydra Properties Chief, few locations in Qatar have been considered by Hydra for real estate projects, under partnership with a Qatar partner. Studies are currently being carried out regarding feasibility, and Hydra will soon venture into Qatar real estate too.
Al-Faheem also revealed that Hydra Properties plans to construct a Sports Club in Qatar, for the disabled, following construction of a tower for businesswomen in the UAE.
Al-Faheem said that after completing its projects in Pakistan, Mexico and other GCC countries, Hydra plans to launch a project in Libya, and is also seeking opportunities in Levant and North Africa.
