The Regent Doha luxury hotel unveiled in Doha
The Rezidor Hotel Group has unveiled the luxurious The Regent Doha in Qatar, thereby including 55 countries to its already rich portfolio of hotels in operation and under development across the region.
Located in the Bin Mahmoud district of Doha, The Regent Doha, stretches along 2.8kms from sea and 6kms from Doha International Airport. Featuring 365 rooms, 2 bars, 2 specialty restaurants, an all day restaurant, a pool café, an executive lounge, a business center, a ballroom, and several boardrooms and conference rooms, the Regent Doha will open to the public towards first quarter of 2013.
Among the other amenities in The Regent Doha, are, the Spa facility, which is fully equipped with steam bath, treatment rooms and massage rooms, apart from gymnasiums, indoor swimming pools, games and recreation area and squash courts.
The President & CEO of Rezidor, Kurt Ritter, said “We are delighted to expand our most exclusive brand further, and to unveil two spectacular Regent hotels under development in the Middle East. During the second quarter of 2011, we will also open The Regent Abu Dhabi.”
The Rezidor Hotel Group is one of the fastest growing hotel companies in the world, with a portfolio of 350 or more hotels in operation, and about 74,555 rooms in 55 countries under development.
The group operates the brands such as Regent Hotels & Resorts, Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts, Park Inn and Country Inn & Suites in Europe, Africa and Middle East, along with other privileges being offered to frequent hotel guests. Rezidor has also entered into a worldwide license agreement with Missoni, the Italian fashion house, to develop and operate lifestyle hotel brand in the name Hotel Missoni.
