Entertainment City Downtown Precinct takes shape in Lusail
The development of the heart of Downtown Precinct of the Entertainment City in the Lusail district, would soon take shape, following the recent joint venture agreement between two prominent companies, Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) and Abu Dhabi Investment House (ADIH.
The Qatar Minister of Business and Trade, HE Sheikh Fahd bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Abdulrahman al-Thani, said that the Downtown Precinct project will bear significant economic and social impact in Doha, and will create thousands of jobs.
The project features about 150,000 square meters of retail, leisure and entertainment mall, which include Carrefour hypermarket, five-star boutique department store, a 210room five-star hotel, a 250rooms four-star hotel, two office building spreading across 28,000 square meters, a residential living with 167,000 square meters of residential living, and an estimated 1100 apartments and 7000 convenient spaces.
