US delegation visits The Pearl Qatar

A high-level diplomatic US delegation, recently visited The Pearl Qatar, the multi-million dollar manmade island, which is also the top-notch realty project, developed and owned by United Development Company (UDC).

The delegation, headed by Ambassador Chase Untermeyer, is one among the series of visits that the island has so far witnessed, which includes, government officials, business captains and high-end investors across the globe.

UDC Board member, Omar Alfardan, and other main officials presented and explained the features of the project and the current progress happening on the project during the visit of the US delegation.

Pointing out the world-class hospitality and leisure services that is being developed in the island, UDC mentioned that it is well-known for its construction of five star restaurants, hotels, exclusive boutiques and beach clubs.

Untemeyer, congratulated the strengths of the project, and emphasizing the importance of his visit, mentioned that his visit will be a major step towards strengthening the co-operation, that will eventually lead to stronger economic relations between Qatar and the United States.

A UDC representative said "The project is one among the largest real estate developments in Qatar, and draws considerable interest from around the world is an excellent investment opportunity."

Alfardan mentioned that the visit of the US delegation, is an example of the reputation that UDC and its flag-ship project, the Pearl Qatar has gained over the past years.

The Pearl Qatar is one of the major international real estate venture in the country and will house approximately 40,000 residents within 12 inspiring boundaries by 2011. During the process of land reclamation for two years, the 4million square meters of new land were created which included a 32km shoreline, navigable canals, three coves etc., apart from several other features.
