Model Family Park at Airport area
The Airport area will soon have a model family park, the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has confirmed.
Spreading across a total area of 4689 sqm, the Park will include walkways, open and shaded areas for families, play areas for children, special facilities for disabled, separate toilets for men and women, and places for security personnel.
The facility will be constructed in District No.47 (Al Thamama) and will have two entrances – one from Al Jolan Street and another from Al Zahraoui Street.
The member of Central Municipal Council (CMC), Sheikha Al Jufeiry, who represents the Old Airport area, thanked the Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning for his quick response to demands of the residents of the locality to establish a family park.
