Qatar Career Fair 2010 to commence from 14th March
The Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) has announced participation in the Qatar Career Fair 2010, to be held from 14th March at the Doha Exhibition Center.
Billed as Discover Today to Prevail Tomorrow, the five-day event is jointly organized by Science and Community Development, Qatar Foundation for Education, Qatar University, Qatar Petroleum, and The Ministry of Labour.
Qatar Career Fair 2010 offers good opportunities for young nationals to find out more about a particular job and its requirements, current employment standards in the job market, and will help them in choosing the right career for themselves in future.
The Director for Human Resources Management and Training at QFMA, Afaf Al Rawashda, said that young Qataris have a lot of talent within them, which could be enhanced through training and education.
The Career Fair 2010 is a national project, contributing to development of human skills, and forms a part of Qatar National Vision 2030. The participation by QFMA in the Fair is a good opportunity to seek skilled employees, she added.
Beginning 2007, the Qatar Career Fair has been offering opportunities in the field of education and employment, apart from offering development for high school and university students and post-graduates at various government sectors.
QFMA was established in 2006 as an independent and empowered regulatory authority for Capital Markets in Qatar, including the Qatar Bourse and financial services sector, securities firms and individuals.
