Project Qatar 2010 unveils today
Leading International Trade Exhibition for Construction Technology, Building Materials, Equipment and Environmental Technology, the Project Qatar 2010, will be unveiled for the seventh consecutive year at the Doha Exhibition Centre today at 6pm, by the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani.
The show will involve participation of all country officials, ambassadors, trade commissions and industry professionals. About 1000 or more firms from 36 nations have confirmed their participation in the event, which will occupy two indoor halls and two outdoor areas, totally spanning an area of 40,000 sqm. Moreover, a tailor-made 11,000 sqm structure was imported from Europe to accommodate several international firms, seeking a strategic entry point to the flourishing Qatari market.
Simultaneously, on the other hand, is the “Heavy Max”, the international showcase for Heavy Machinery, Vehicles, Equipment and Construction Plant.
The event is hoped to offer a range of best solutions that meet the growing requirements of public and private ongoing mega projects. Among the international countries that are participating in the show are, Austria, Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, China Egypt, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Iran, and Jordan, amongst many others.
Falling together with the Project Qatar 2010, is the “Qatar Sustainability Conference 2010”, scheduled from 13th to 15th April, which allows communities, companies, and individuals, to exchange and discuss green and alternative solutions that harmonize perfectly with the environment. Several international speakers are hoped to discuss sustainability issues, to find green and alternative solutions that are in sync with the environment.
Being one of the largest construction exhibitions, the Project Qatar 2010, will soon open doors for visitors daily from 4pm to 10pm until the 15th April 2010.
