Two months free rental offered to tenants at Barwa Village

Shops at Barwa Village in Al Wakra have been granted two months free rentals, while they renew their tenancy contracts. This offer is open only to tenants seeking renewal of their contracts for the next two years. It is not available for tenants of residential units in the village.

Tenants, whose contracts are nearing expiry, have been informed about the offer by Waseef, the leasing subsidiary of Barwa. This new initiative is being considered as an attempt to retain the current tenants, majority of whom, have been complaining about high rentals and lack of business.

The monthly rental for commercial properties at Barwa Village is now QR10,000 per room. The new offer may not be available for more than two months of the new contract period.

The tenants renewing their contracts for a year may also stand to gain one month free rental, but, this decision is yet to be confirmed by the Barwa management, and will be dealt with on case by case basis.
