DPS Modern Indian School

DPS -Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) was established in 2001. In seventeen years, the school has carved a niche for itself and is counted among the best schools in Doha.

Bettering the best in Academics, Extra-curricular activities and sports, the school has succeeded in bringing out well-rounded personalities-students who are academically bright, physically strong, mentally agile, emotionally balanced and socially committed.

The school follows the NCERT syllabus and takes part in the Annual Model United Nations. It has integrated optional coaching classes, FIITJEE that includes coaching for JEE-Mains and Advanced, NTSE, SAT for the students of class 7-12. The school has namely two streams for future studies starting from Grade 11: Science and Commerce. Accreditation by QNSA is obtained for a 5 year span.

DPS-MIS has embraced technology and provides for infrastructure keeping up with advanced and international standards in a manner characteristic of few city schools in the country. The campus has been thoughtfully designed to create a dynamic environment which triggers learning and facilitates the teaching process.

The academic buildings (Block A, Block B and Block C (First Floor and 2nd Floor)) have 158 classrooms. Each room has adequate storage provisions for the entire class. The building is networked and provided with computers. In addition to regular classroom, the classrooms are equipped with Smart Interactive Boards for Senior School and LCD Televisions for Junior School. They have separate language rooms, science labs, computer labs, music and dance rooms, staff rooms and art rooms.

The school also has one state of art Auditorium with 1000 seating capacity, an Olympic Size Indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and badminton courts, Large size football ground and athletic track, Secured WIFI enabled campus and Parking for 300 cars and buses.
