Gulf-based company to recruit 20,000 Indian workers
The Nasser S Al Hazri Corporation, the Gulf-based industrial contracting and oil refining company, has announced that it plans to recruit about 20,000 Indian workers and professionals in the next six months.
The Managing Director, Ravi Pillai, said -We have recently entered into multi-million dollar contracts with various international clients, which has given me the option to recruit another 20,000 odd people from India, during the coming three to six months, as we are expanding our Gulf operations.
The Saud Arabian based company, with an annual turnover of $2.5bn, has a headcount of more than 35000 (out of which 28000 are Indians), have its major operations in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The company has recently entered into a $1bn contract in Qatar, and about 1000 fresh engineers (400 civil engineers, 400 mechanical engineers, 50 instrumentation engineers and 150 electrical engineers) may be recruited from India.
The company also announced plans to increase the salary levels of their employees by 30%.
