Bank offers job opportunities for young Qataris
Commercialbank recently organized a recruitment event for young Qataris by offering them with job opportunities in the Bank.
The offer is inclusive of advanced training and development of financial courses. The event held at Al Sharq Village and Spa, saw a briefing by the bank Qatarisation unit about various banking sectors.
A representative of the bank revealed that the event has been organized aiming to provide Qataris with rewarding career opportunities, and to establish a solid base for their skills.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Michael Azmi-Loe, said that Commercialbank is committed towards Qatarisation, and participation in these initiatives is a major step ahead in our effort to provide opportunities to Qataris.
The Bank has entered into partnership with College of North Atlantic-Qatar for providing training courses.
The Deputy CEO, Abdulla al-Raisi, says that Qatarisation in the banking sector is likely to be a major factor in the future of economic growth of Qatar, which reflects the want for more Qatari professionals in the workforce.
He revealed that the first group of students in the banking associates programme have completed graduation and are now working in various departments.
The Bank has also announced plans to enter into agreement with the Ministry of Labour, to help 10 talented Qataris each year to pursue their goals. The Bank has also entered into partnership deal with the Institute of Administrative Development, aiming 25 fresh graduates and helping them to opt for banking sector.
