Gulf companies to continue hiring

Several of the companies in the region are continuing to hire, with nearly 50 percent of recruiters having agreed that new jobs would be created in the next six months time, reveal a new survey.

The survey conducted by NationalGulf.com reveals that almost 140 recruiters, who responded to the survey, shared the same ‘positive hiring sentiment’.

The study said that at least 48 percent of the respondents believed that there will be new jobs in the next six months, while 26 percent said replacement hiring will happen, and 22 percent said that there will be no hiring happening, while only 4 percent indicated possibility of layoffs.

The survey states that in the present scenario, contrary to the current belief, several companies are not hiring. About 51 percent of total respondents said hiring has not stopped in their companies, although 35 percent agreed to have cut bonuses.
