Qatar Airways announced that it will operate 19 weekly ‘freight-only’ flights to destinations through India using its Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
In a series of tweets, Qatar Airways yesterday stated that it will operate ‘freight-only’ passenger aircraft to Delhi (thrice weekly), Bengaluru (thrice weekly), Hyderabad (twice weekly), Chennai (four times weekly), Mumbai (five times weekly) and Kolkata (twice weekly).
Qatar Airways said that the addition of these 19-weekly freight services will increase the airline’s weekly cargo capacity to India from 2,120 tonnes to 2,535 tonnes.
