Master-planners appointed for Seef Lusail Waterfront
The 600,000 sqm multi-purpose development, Seef Lusail, located at the Lusail Waterfront, has appointed DP Architects as master-planners for the project.
The CEO of Lusail City, Issa Mohammed al-Kandari, has been appointed as Chairman, while Khalid Ahmad Fakhroo is the Executive Director – Engineering and Real Estate, and Masraf Al Rayan appointed as CEO.
Seef Lusail will feature an interactive 2.3km waterfront promenade, including multiple world-class attractions that caters to various age groups and families. It will further add to Qatar’s appeal as an international destination, competing with other major global destinations.
Seef Lusail will also feature one-of-a-kind unique, retail, dining and entertainment opportunity that stretches across the waterfront. The design also takes into account the weather in Qatar, so as to offer a lively and active waterfront all through the year.
Currently, talks are underway with global hotel brands that will introduce new concepts and ideas to Qatar.
A world-class team from both organizations has been organized, and they will implement and develop the project. Numerous research and market studies have been held, aiming to help in designing a unique sustainable iconic development, in-line with 2030 Vision Qatar, Fakhroo said.
