Qatar property rentals third most expensive in the world

Real estate rentals in Qatar are third most expensive in the world, as per Numbeos Cost of Living Index 2015.

The UAE has been reported to be the fourth highest for rentals, while Bahrain and Kuwait are ranked 10th and 13th respectively.

The most expensive countries in the list are Singapore and Hong Kong.
In the GCC region, the most expensive country in terms of total cost of living, including rental and consumer goods and services is Kuwait, which stood ninth in the survey involving 119 countries across the world.

Top three in overall category were Switzerland, Norway and Venezuela.

As for purchasing power, Saudi Arabia was ranked second in the world, behind Switzerland, while Qatar is in the 6th place, Oman in 10th among the top ten, and UAE in 13th.
