Qatar property market ready for a boom with its high return investments
Real estate in Qatar is becoming more attractive in recent times, with over 500,000 families expected to move into Qatar by the year 2012.
The Sabban Property Investments (SPI) has announced about 40 to 45 percent return on investments to investors in its inaugural project, the QR12bn Sabban Towers, located at The Pearl Qatar. Investors who invested in the project during late 2007 and in early 2008 have reported good returns due to the upward trend in housing prices and the limited supplies in the country at present.
The sales and marketing of the project, has been entrusted to Lifestyle Homes and Properties, which seeks to influence the projected 500,000 families by displaying low-risk projects with high return of investments.
Apart from the present economic boom in Qatar, there are plenty of low-risk projects that are open, with high return on investments, as the government has introduced measures to maintain its foreign land ownership laws. This has led to increased growth in real estate sector.
The new law permits foreigners with right to 100 percent land ownership, and building of residential units in 18 locations, including the West Bay Lagoon, Pearl Island, Lagoon Plaza and Al Khor Resort projects. Foreign investors can acquire residence visas from the Ministry of Interior.
Lifestyle Homes has been aiding foreign investors by finding suitable properties that generate highest profits. It is said that the 16000 apartments and 1100 villas that are likely to enter the Qatar market by 2010, have already generated huge investor interest.
The Qatari government has announced a strategic step to further motivate foreign investments in residential sector, which in-turn will fuel the already booming economy. By granting foreigners permission to build residential properties, and the huge inflow of new housing units into the country, is speeding the growth of the country’s residential property market.
Many projects in Qatar are nearing completion, and investors have recognized this booming property trend in the country, and are seeking to reap returns through smart investments.
Lifestyle Homes have expanded their portfolio of services to become the key real estate solutions provider to leading regional developers. The company's clients, apart from those who seek to rent or buy properties, also include investors who are looking for high value projects to lease or resell.
