Dohaland, Turner International, sign deal to establish Time Qatar
Dohaland and Turner International Middle East have entered into a deal to establish a joint-venture company Time Qatar, which will also be an independent project management company.
The agreement to this effect was signed between Eng. Issa M Al Mohannadi, CEO of Dohaland and Ali H Odeh, the Chairman and CEO of Turner Construction International LLC and Turner International Middle East.
The agreement is a major step ahead, as Dohaland intends to create and develop communities that will establish the standard for property development in Qatar. With the ongoing projects, Dohaland will grow to be a major developer of innovative and sustainable projects, rooted in our heritage.
Time Qatar will help Dohaland in establishing urban living concepts built on traditional Arabian architectural designs. The joint-venture company ‘Time Qatar’ will be owned by Turner International Middle East and Dohaland Limited.
Dohaland is a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and was formally launched on 3rd March 2009. The company will inspire property development in Qatar and enable the human potential to grow and flourish.
Turner has vast experience on a variety of sustainable construction projects and has completed about 80 LEED Certified projects. Currently it is working on more than 120 additional projects registered with the US Green Building Council.
