Qatar Real Estate News

Fourth edition of Q-REX 2009 started

The 4th Qatar International Real Estate and Investment Exhibition (Q-REX 2009) has been unveiled at the Qatar International Exhibition Centre.

The four-day exhibition has attracted several local and regional property developers, and is hoped to feature the most innovative and up-market property development projects in the industry.

First Qatar, one of the leading property developers in the region is the Platinum Sponsor for the event. The company will promote its new La Rivera development at The Pearl, apart from several other Gulf and international property project that are underway.

With the Qatari property market showing great resilience in the event of downturn, the event gains more prominence this year, and the regional investors have already shown optimism and confidence in the country’s economy.

First Qatar has been building luxury homes, offices and retail properties in the region since 2005. Head-quartered in Kuwait, First Qatar has unveiled $750mn worth of investment projects last year, including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments in Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.
