UDC unveils its first residential tower at The Pearl Qatar
The owner and developer of The Pearl Qatar, the United Development Company (UDC), unveiled to public, its first residential tower, namely, Tower 4, at The Pearl Qatar.
An inaugural ceremony for the same was held here this week, which included a special show of synchronized swimming, followed by spectacular light show. The colourful new building was unveiled after a large banner unfurled from the 19th storey, with welcoming words written in various languages.
The Acting Property Manager at The Pearl Qatar, Sami Abu Kishk, said “I am genuinely delighted to welcome the first residents, few of whom have already begun moving into this wonderful tower since last month. We find it very exciting to handover the keys to their dream homes on a regular basis.”
He pointed out that this is the first beautiful tower of 31 at Porto Arabia, growing to hit the skies. The new neighbourhood would include residents from 28 countries in the world from Lagos to Los Angeles, India to Italy, and Saudi to Stockholm, all of them, finding their homes in Tower 4. On completion, The Pearl Qatar will house 52 different nationalities.
Spreading across 4million square meters, The Pearl Qatar is one of the most ambitious and largest urban developments in Qatar. Also known as the Arabian Riviera, the island will be completed by 2012.
The QR50bn worth off-shore man-made island, the first to offer freehold and residential rights to international investors in the country will include 16000 new homes, including apartments, town homes, penthouses and beach-front villas, with a capacity to accommodate 41,000 residents.
