Kuwaiti developer mulls investment options in Qatar
Alargan International Real Estate Company, a leading Kuwaiti real estate developer, is currently considering several investment opportunities in Qatar and Egypt.
Alargan has a total of USD2.4bn worth assets that are being managed, particularly in real estate projects in Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
During September 2009, Alargan received a loan of KD20mn from the Kuwait-based Commercial Bank of Kuwait and the Middle East. The medium-term loan has a two-year grace period, and will be re-paid by 2016.
Established in 1994, Alargan is active in building, renting and selling residential compounds, commercial centers, hotels, health centers, complexes, blocks of flats and resorts.
