The Cambridge School, Doha (also known as CIS) is a private international school that provides an education based on the National Curriculum for England to students from Kindergarten to Year 13.
Cambridge International School, Doha (CIS) also own and manage two other schools in Qatar, Cambridge International School for Girls and Doha Modern Indian School. The school is founded by Mohammed Taleb Mohammed Al Khouri and managed by the Taleb Group.

At CIS, the curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England, adapted to include the requirements of education in Qatar. CIS has started to admit girls and boys from KG1 throughout the school from this academic year 2018/19. Already offering IGCSE examinations in Year 11, CIS now extends to Year 12 where students may continue with AS levels and subsequently A levels in Year 13.

The school prepares students for the IGCSE, AS and A Level, following the Cambridge International Examinations Board. The school has grown from just under 300 students seven years ago to almost over 1,500 students with over 60 different nationalities. Some of the teachers are from the United Kingdom, although most of them are from South Africa and India.

The Cambridge School Doha offers Arabic and Islamic Studies for students from Kindergarten up to Year 9. GradeT3-9 is also provided Qatar History. The Kindergarten follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and Primary and Secondary follow the British Curriculum. students will make some choices toward the end of Year 9 about subjects for the International General Certificate Secondary Education ( IGCSE ) offered through the Cambridge International Examinations Board (CIE). After IGCSE, students will continue to study Advanced Supplementary (AS) and Advanced Level (A level) subjects mainly under the Cambridge International Examinations Board.

Class rooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards to improve learning in all subjects and for all age groups through interactive presentations and activities. The development of creative and artistic skills takes place in dedicated rooms for lessons in Music and Art. Regular library lessons are scheduled in the school’s Library, to promote the joy of reading and develop literacy skills. The school has a medical room under the control of a registered nurse.

They have an air-conditioned indoor sports hall and is used for PE lessons and school activities. Students may play volleyball, basketball and badminton or take part in team games. The school’s playground and playing field complement the spacious, purpose built campus. The KG Hall is designed and equipped for KG students to enjoy assemblies and events as well as soft play. The outdoor Jungle Gym is equipped for KG students to enjoy structured play. The 25-metre covered swimming pool is flanked by a tennis court and a grass sports field.
