From Arabic calligraphy-inspired paintings to surrealist paintings to silk art, 102 stunning artworks by 51 artists reflect thematic and cultural diversity in an exhibition aptly dubbed ‘The Colours of Desert’ will be open at Building 19 at Katara – the Cultural Village on 18th July.
Jointly hosted by Katara and the Middle-East Art and Silk Printers (MAPS), The Katara Amphitheater will be bubbling with some breathtaking paintings bringing out the inward significance of each artwork all done by a talented group of Artists.
Middle-east Art & Silk Painters (MAPS) is a Chapter of Silk Painters International (SPIN), USA founded and headed by Rashmi Agarwal, a popular Fine Silk Artist who has been nurturing and empowering the Art Community in Qatar.
