Organized by the Department of Agricultural Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality, the Honey Festival kicked off at Al Mazrouah Yard on Thursday to sell the local agricultural product.
The three-day festival features participation by farms, local companies specialised in honey production, and a number of Qatari farms. The aim of establishing the event is to market local honey products, support Qatari farms, and attract the public to take advantage of the products, vegetables, fruits and others.

The ministry has urged the public to visit the festival which will be open Thursday, Friday and on Saturday, from 7am to 5pm at Al Mazrouah Yard in Umm Salal Central Market, especially since Qatari honey products of all kinds are distinguished in terms of quality and diversity.
