Milipol Qatar concludes with contracts worth QR592 million & 11,500 visitors.

The 14th edition of the International Event for Internal Security and Civil Defense, Milipol Qatar 2022, which was being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, concluded yesterday evening. The 15th edition of the Milipol Qatar is scheduled for October 29, 2024.
A total of 222 exhibitors from 22 countries took part in the exhibition and 60 percent of them participated for the first time. The first-time exhibitors were from eight countries including Australia, Canada, Cyprus, Croatia, Finland, India, the Netherlands and Slovakia.
At a press conference held on this occasion, Maj. Gen. Nasser bin Fahad Al Thani, chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee, said this edition of the expo achieved great success and achieved several records. He said the value of the total deals signed during the Milipol Qatar 2022 reached 592 million riyals and more than 11,500 people visited the expo.
Giving the details, Maj. Gen. Nasser bin Fahd Al-Thani said the exhibition included pavilions representing five countries including France, North America, Germany, Italy and Austria.
A total of 99 exhibitors from Qatar participated in the expo. Many exhibitors including those specialising in the field of cybersecurity have expressed their desire to participate in the next version of the event, which is slated to be held from 29 to 31 October 2024.
The exhibition was covered by 587 media representatives from different countries and 389 official delegations including Their Excellencies the ministers, police leaders and heads of diplomatic missions attended the opening of the exhibition from several countries.
