Hyatt to add first Regency property in Qatar

The Oryx Rotana Hotel will reopen as the Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha on September 15. It will be the third Hyatt-branded hotel in Qatar, joining the Park Hyatt Doha and Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel and Villas.

This property was owned by Qatar Airways subsidiary Dhiafatina Hotels. They currently own a handful of properties including the Sheraton Skyline Hotel at London’s Heathrow Airport, the Novotel Edinburgh Park, and the Sheraton Melbourne.

The 400-room property is located close to Hamad International airport, and features three restaurants, a jazz club, a fitness and wellness centre with pool, sauna and spa bath, a Regency Club lounge, and 1,000 sqm of events space including two ballrooms.
