Qatar Airways unveils Gulfstream G700

Qatar Airways on Monday unveiled Gulfstream’s recently-introduced flagship, the Gulfstream G700, for its charter service, Qatar Executive.

Qatar Airways was the launch customer of the G700. In 2019, Qatar Aiways ordered 10 G700 aircraft. Eleven Gulfstream aircraft are currently in service with Qatar Executive, including six G650ERs and five G500s.

The executive charter service is the world’s largest commercial operator of the G650ER and the first commercial charter operator of the G500.

Monday's showcase of the G700 in Doha marks one year to the delivery of the aircraft to QatarExecutive in 2022.

QatarAirways GCEO Akbar Al Baker said, "As a launch customer, we are also proud to reaffirm our commitment to addressing climate change and other environmental impacts through the addition of the technologically advanced [G700] to our fleet.”

The G700 delivers the most spacious, innovative and flexible cabin in the industry, offering an extra-large galley with lounge or crew compartment, up to five living areas and a spacious master bedroom with en suite washroom.
