Prime minister attends IATA annual general meeting and World Air Transport summit opening.

The Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani attended Monday morning the opening of the 78th Annual General Meeting of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the World Air Transport Summit, held at the Sheraton Doha Hotel.
The opening was attended by a number of Their Excellencies ministers, heads of regional and international organizations, IATA members, and a number of guests of the country.
The opening also included speeches by Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al Sulaiti, CEO of Qatar Airways Group Akbar Al Baker, and Director-General of IATA Willie Walsh. (QNA)
Qatar Prime Minister met on Monday morning with Director-General of International Air Transport Association (IATA) Willie Walsh, Chief Executive Officer of Airbus Guillaume Faury, and Executive Vice President of Boeing Company and President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes Stan Deal, on the occasion of their visit to the country to participate in the Annual General Meeting IATA and the World Air Transport Summit held in Doha.
During the meeting, they reviewed the most prominent global challenges facing the aviation and air transport sector, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the State of Qatar and IATA. They also discussed several topics of joint interest.
