Qatar Airways has unveiled its plan to give away 100,000 airline tickets to frontline health care workers who have been battling the coronavirus pandemic.

Qatar Airways has announced to thank the scores of nurses around the world who are putting their lives on the line amid the coronavirus outbreak. The airline is offering 1,00,000 complimentary Economy Class return tickets to frontline healthcare professionals.
These tickets will be fully flexible with respect to places and dates, so those eligible can enjoy a vacation at any Qatar Airways destination. Some of these include Muscat, Boston, Montreal, Singapore, Bali, Barcelona, Paris, Istanbul, Seychelles and Cape Town.
The giveaway opens May 12 for International Nurses Day and will close May 18. Health care professionals from every country are eligible for entry and can submit a form for a “unique promotion code” at qatarairways.com/ThankYouHeroes.
Healthcare professionals from every country are eligible for the tickets, which will be available on a first come, first serve basis. These include doctors, medical practitioners, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, lab technicians and clinical researchers. A valid employer ID must be presented at the airport at the point of check-in.
Each country will receive a daily allocation of tickets, staggered over a seven-day period from 12 to 18 May. The giveaway will close on 18 May at midnight, Doha time (2.29am IST).
Those who receive the promotion code can book up to two complimentary Economy Class return tickets on Qatar Airways-operated flights for travel dates before 10 December, 2020. A fully flexible ticket means an unlimited number of destination or date changes at no fee.
