Qatar's Ministry of Interior has made it easy for people to obtain its approval to host events such as weddings and funerals.

Ministry of Interior (MOI) announced the launch of a new service through Metrash2 that allows the public to submit an application for holding an event, party or condolence, without visiting the security departments.
The approval, which is a must as part of Qatar's measures to arrest the surge in COVID-19, can be sought through Metrash 2, the MOI smartphone application that enables public to access its services.
The request can be submitted in a few simple steps through Metrash2 application.
• Open 'Communicate with us' and select 'Apply to hold an event'.
• Click on agree to the pledge.
• Next step is to fill in the details and send
Once these steps are completed, the applicants will receive a confirmation on the registered email. The approval will be then sent to the email address registered in Metrash2.
