WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has praised Qatar's dedication and commitment in implementing a robust COVID-19 national response.

The Chief of the World Health Organisation (WHO) has lauded the way Qatar is dealing with the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
In a tweet-chain, the WHO Director-General said he was pleased to sign a Core Contribution Agreement with the Qatar Fund For Development (QFFD) that will support the WHO’s 13th General Programme of Work with $10 million.
“I used the opportunity to commend the government and people of #Qatar for their dedication and commitment in implementing a robust #COVID19 national response, as well as to thank them for the strong role they are playing in global health security and sustainable development,” he said.
