Children under the age of 12 in Qatar are barred from entering shopping centres and markets.

As part of restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country, Qatar government has curbed on children’s access to shopping centres and markets.
The third phase of coronavirus-related curbs in Qatar went into effect on Friday until further notice, reducing the capacity of commercial centres to 30 per cent, closing all prayer areas in them and restricting the service of restaurants inside them to outdoor orders.
As part of the latest restrictions, Persons under 18 years old are not allowed into cinemas, the capacity of which is reduced to 20 per cent of the usual capacity. The capacity of public markets is cut down to 30 per cent of the normal capacity.
