Open to aviation industry professionals, Dubai Airshow 2023 will kick off on Monday, November 13. The five-day event is set to be the biggest edition of international aerospace event so far. The event will be held at DWC, Airshow Site from November 13 to 17.

Dubai Airshow 2023 is not open to the general public, and is an event for industry professionals. However, the public can access the flying displays during the event.

A major highlight of the biennial event is a flying display of aircraft. Held at 2pm every day during the event, the details of the display are published on the morning of the show.

The display is open to the public and is free-to-attend, but entry will be on a first-come first-served basis. The venue, Skyview, will also have live entertainment and a picnic area with food stalls and trucks.

Qatar Airways will take part in Dubai Airshow 2023. The award-winning airline aims to reinforce its position as a global aviation pioneer by showcasing a selection of its state-of-the-art aircraft to the industry, including Boeing B787-9, Airbus A350-1000, and Gulfstream G650ER.

The Airbus A350-1000 features a wide body cabin, creating a very spacious interior, as well as having the widest seats of any jetliners. The airline will also display a Boeing B787-9, which has a two-cabin configuration, comprised of 30 seats in Business Class and 281 Economy Class seats.

Some of the flying teams include Frecce Tricolori, the Italian Air Force’s aerobatic demonstration team; Fursan Al Emarat, the United Arab Emirates Air Force aerobatic display team; Sarang, the helicopter air display team of the Indian Air Force; and August 1st, the aerobatic demonstration team of the People's Liberation Army Air Force (Chinese Air Force).

Apart from the flying display, pilots and astronauts make daily appearances in the Skyview Grandstand Arena making for fun meet and greet sessions for enthusiasts. Attendees can take photos and videos from the Skyview Grandstand Arena. You can also bring your own food, but there are food trucks on site as well.

The event is set to host industry leaders in aviation from the region and from around the world for various conferences and panel discussions. Airlines and country representatives usually announce their biggest deals and future projects during the event as well.

This year organisers expect over 1,400 exhibitors from 95 countries. There will also be more than 180 aircraft on display, ranging across commercial, private and military sectors – including electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft (air taxis) and helicopters.
