Amir receives well-wishers on Eid Al Adha

Qatar Amir received scores of well-wishers on the advent of Eid Al Adha at Al Wajba Palace on Saturday.

Amir received Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim and sheikhs, ministers, ministries’ undersecretaries, as well as citizens.

The Amir also received heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the country, as well as army and police officers, and heads of national institutions and departments. The well-wishers expressed their greetings and congratulations to the Amir on such a blessed occasion, praying for its return with good and blessings for the Qatari people and the Arab and Muslim nations.

Meanwhile, the Amir exchanged greetings with Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, President of the Republic of Tunisia Kais Saied, President of the Republic of Iraq Dr Barham Salih, and President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The Amir exchanged greetings with President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi and President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas. Also, the Amir exchanged greetings with Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and with Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah.

The Amir exchanged cables of greetings with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries. The Amir also received cables of greetings on the occasion from a number of leaders of friendly countries.
