Qatar, Estonia sign agreement on avoidance of double taxation.

Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and Estonia, represented by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Information Technology, signed an agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent financial evasion regarding income taxes.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari and Minister of Economy and Information Technology in Estonia HE Tiit Riisalo.
The agreement aims to conclude tax agreements that eliminate all forms of double taxation between the two countries.
This agreement will enable both parties to prevent tax evasion and ensure justice and equality in the treatment of individuals, in addition to enhancing trade cooperation and increasing investment opportunities between governments and individuals.
Stressing the importance of the agreement, the Minister of Finance said that it would contribute to supporting international standards of transparency through the exchange of documented financial information, noting that it comes in light of strengthening bilateral economic relations between the two countries.
