Amir, Iranian president discuss latest developments in Palestine.

His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed thelatest developments of the situation in the Palestinian territories withPresident of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Ebrahim Raisi, during a phone call, on Saturday.
They also discussed bilateral relations and regional and international developments of common concern.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres on Thursday discussed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian Territories and Israel in addition to means for de-escalation.
The prime minister during the telephonic conversation voiced Qatar's firm stance condemning all forms of targeting of civilians, killing innocent civilians, especially women and children, and pursuing a policy of collective punishment as unacceptable under any pretext.
Moreover, he underscored the coordination of regional and international efforts to end the aggression on Gaza and achieve just and lasting peace.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's appreciation for the UN efforts and the effective role of its secretary-general in mobilizing international efforts for calm and de-escalation.
