The Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza, in cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development, will begin to disburse the July instalment of cash assistance to the needy families in the Gaza Strip on Thursday.
Qatar disburses a monthly humanitarian grant to support Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, who are suffering from the difficult economic and living conditions caused by the Israeli siege.
Chairman of Qatar’s Gaza Reconstruction Committee HE Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi said that cash assistance will be provided to about 100,000 needy families in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, at a rate of $100 per family.
He stated that the distribution process will be carried out through the United Nations and through the distribution centres identified by it in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, which are more than 300 centres and shops.
