Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani on Thursday attended the launching ceremony of the upbringing programme ‘Tanshia’, organised by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in cooperation with the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) affiliated with Qatar Foundation.
The event was held in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s building.
During the ceremony, the prime minister listened to presentations on the most important plans and upbringing programmes designed to build children’s personality and provide an integrated social upbringing for the early stages of life and protect children from behaviour deviations by strengthening protection factors and identifying and neutralising risk factors.
The ceremony was attended by a number of ministers and senior state officials.
