Qatar's foreign minister meets Erdogan in Turkey

President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Turkey on Saturday.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE the President of the Republic of Turkey, and High Highness' wishes for health and happiness to HE the President and for the Turkish people further progress and prosperity.

For his part, the Turkish President entrusted the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness health and happiness and the Qatari people's continued development and growth.

Earlier in Last October, President Erdogan and Qatar's emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a meeting to discuss and enhance bilateral relations, as well as regional developments in Istanbul during the sidelines of Supreme Strategic Committee meeting, where all aspects of the bilateral relations was discussed.


Potential steps aimed at deepening and advancing the bilateral cooperation were addressed during the meeting, which took place at the Dolmabahce Palace in Besiktas.
