Qatar the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated Thursday morning the strategic communications building and remote sensing building of Qatari Amiri Signal and Information Technology Corps at Al Dehailiyat Army Camp.
Amir listened to a briefing on the various modern facilities and equipment.
His Highness was also briefed on the latest technological means and information technology and mechanisms related to the communications system.
Amir was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Commander of Qatar Amiri Signal and Information Technology Corps Brig. Gen. Zayed Ahmed Al Kuwari, ministers, and senior army officers.
