Qatar, US hold talks on law enforcement, anti-terror cooperation.

On the sidelines of the Fifth Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue, Qatar and the US held a session on law enforcement and counter-terrorism cooperation in Doha on Monday.
Vice-Chairman of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee Major-General Nasser Saeed Al Hajri led the Qatari side in the session, while the US side was led by US Acting Coordinator for Counterterrorism Christopher Landberg.
Both sides discussed the progress achieved in the joint efforts in matters related to combating terrorism and its financing, money laundering and combating violent extremism at the international level, in addition to ways to develop bilateral cooperation on a number of issues of mutual interest between the two countries.
The bilateral and strong security partnership in the field of law enforcement, aviation and border security, information exchange and capacity building were also discussed.
