Ashghal announces Zeeenah initiative winners

Qatar Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the winners of the Zeeenah initiative, launched to highlight the celebratory activities of Qatar during the hosting of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

The initiative recognizes individuals, businesses, schools, and government entities that have worked to beautify and decorate the facades of workplaces, schools, universities, and real estate, in addition to squares, roads, and other public services ahead of and during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Ashghal revealed that the number of winners of the initiative in the kindergarten, schools, and universities category reached 18, in the municipalities category to 3 municipalities, and 18 winners in the government and private entities category.

The "Zeeenah initiative was launched by the Public Works Authority "Ashghal", represented in The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, Ministry of Municipality, Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Ministry of Culture, Qatar Museums, and Central Municipal Council.

On this occasion, Chairman of The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads and Public Places in Qatar and the Initiatives Organizing Committee Eng Mohammad Arqoub Al Khaldi said,
"The initiative has contributed to making Qatar fully prepared to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 societally and present our Qatari identity and culture to the world, especially Qatar hosting fans from all over the world."

Manager of Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Municipality Dr. Fayqa Ashkanani said, "the cooperation between the ministry and the organizing committee of the "Zeeenah" initiative during FIFA World Cup 2022 activities comes within the Ministrys keenness to support and promote societal partnership with different entities and civil society organizations in Qatar.

"Zeeenahs" participation in the implementation of some decorative works during FIFA World Cup 2022 are representative of the tournament, contributed to highlighting Qatars civilization and aesthetics, as well as introduce visitors to the most important features that reflect the identity and culture of Qatar."
