QNB supports conservation of water and electricity

Qatar National Bank (QNB), one of the largest financial institutions in the Middle East and Africa, announced its Gold Sponsorship of the Tarsheed Carnival 2023 to be organised by the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) starting from March 7 at Kahramaa Awareness Park.

QNB’s participation comes as part of its sustainability-driven initiatives in Qatar and throughout the markets in which it operates, which is reflected in supporting all projects and efforts toward building a more sustainable world.

Tarsheed is a national program that aims to raise awareness about conservation and energy efficiency.

The carnival, which will be taking place over the course of one week, aims to raise awareness among the public about sustainable development goals, which are in line with the global vision as well as the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.

Through capitalising on such efforts, the Group is also dedicated to bringing forward its long-term projects on the Sustainability framework.

The carnival includes a number of activities that will be open to the public as well as other entities, to enhance the cooperation between Kahramaa and different sectors and to spread awareness about the conservation of water and electricity among the audience.
