Qatar PM directs ministers to boost services

Qatar PM directed the ministers to work to provide the highest level of performance and services in government agencies, especially in the health and education sectors; to work to promote economic growth; to facilitate the procedures for providing services to citizens and residents, and to work in a united team spirit.

The Cabinet approved It also approved the appointment of a judge at the Qatar International Court (the Civil and Commercial Court) for a renewable five-year term, and determining his remuneration.

It also approved the initiation of the Government Excellence Award. This award aims to enhance the quality of government performance, raise the quality of government services, and encourage government agencies to compete in pursuing quality, development, and excellence in performance.

The Cabinet also discussed the outcomes of the 42nd meeting of the Permanent Arab Post Committee, and took the appropriate decision thereon.
