HMC Ramadan working hours

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced changes to the operating hours of a number of services during the Holy Month of Ramadan. All emergency and inpatient services across HMC’s network of hospitals, including paediatric emergency centres, will continue to operate as normal, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Outpatient Department Clinics (OPD) clinics will run as usual and in conjunction with the Urgent Consultation Service between 9am and 2pm, Sunday to Thursday.HMC Urgent Consultation Service will be available from 9am to 2pm from Sunday to Thursday. To access the service, call 16000, select language, select 3 for HMC and select 1 for HMC Urgent Consultation.

National Healthcare Helpline number: 16000 will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week during Ramadan.To access the service, call 16000, select language and select number according to the service you require.

The Nesma’ak Customer Service helpline 16060 will continue to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Mental Health Helpline will continue to operate from 8am to 8pm seven days a week. To access the service, call 16000, select language and select 4 for Mental Health Helpline

The new Blood Donor Centre in the West Energy Centre will open from 8am to 1pm for non-Muslim donors, and from 6pm to 12 midnight from Sunday to Thursday. It closes on Friday and reopen on Saturday from 6pm to 2am.

Note that the Satellite Blood Donor Centre next to Surgical Specialty Centre has permanently closed.

HMC Pharmacy Medication Delivery will work from 9am to 2pm from Sunday to Thursday.To access the service, call 16000, select language, select 3 for HMC and select 2 for Medication Delivery.

The Clinical Imaging Call Centre will operate as usual from Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 6pm, and on Saturday from 8am to 2pm. Patients can call or WhatsApp this service on 44393377. (TNn)
